I have always been interested in wireless telecommunications – in terms of underlying technology, and also socio-economic impact.
Current Research
My current research focusses on trying to get the best usage/profit out of existing (and new) telecomms networks through cooperation. To enable network operators to trade their resources – whether that is radio spectrum, or network or transport layer data.
Past Projects
For the past 8 years I have had the privelege to be a researcher within the prestigious “MobileVCE” consortium. MVCE is made up from a number of leading universities and major telecommunications & related companies (Nokia-Siemens, Orange, Vodafone, BBC etc.)
